Welcome!

Greetings from the newly formed team of CGBR Technologies, Ltd. We're a newly created business who aim to change the world of computing as much as possible, with special emphasis on the world of PC building. I'm Dylan, one of the 4 core founders of our little group, and I'll be detailing my experiences, as well as giving you a bit of insight on what our team is working on at the moment.

Now, I'm sure if we get any visitors, they'll have questions from time to time, or suggestions to improve our project. I'd just like to add the fact that we wholeheartedly welcome these questions and suggestions, so feel free to comment below. I'll go into more detail in our Code of Conduct page.

We can't give away too many secrets about what we're working on, but I'll try my best to help you to at least understand what we're talking about as it's posted.

With the introductions and such under our belts, let's get rolling on our adventure! From one person to another, I hope you can find insight, entertainment, and knowledge in our posts.

Hardware and Software

By
Hey guys,      we are discussing a relatively new technology both with how the hardware and software combined  will work. So lets take a look at the modular computing and how it works. Software has to be written for the module to swap back to the integrated hardware.      The software that needs to be written to redirect power and to read different modules all the time so that they can become hot swap able. The technology required is really reliable and I will release more information about this technology soon, as I cannot give to much away at the moment.      The software aspect of this is really complex and takes a lot of processing and power from the hardware as it has to overlap with one another. The software will have some cool looking utilities to maintain the devices such as the hard drives and other components.      Utilities include fan control for the cooling system for hardware like the CPU and graphics u...

Project Mariana - Details about the actual project

By
Greetings, my Newly Arrived Neophytes!                 I've got a bit of information regarding the actual concept behind Project Mariana, just to give a bit more clarity to what it is we'd like to achieve. It's not much, as we'd like to maintain secrecy until a patent is secured, but I hope it helps.         So, with Project Mariana, we'd like to develop a modular computing system that is both functional and easy to build. Hotswapping, the ability to pull out a module and put another in its place with little latency, is going to be a feature in the finished product. The modules themselves will be built inside casings which we will design ourselves, but we don't want to sacrifice the customizability of building your PC for modularity. To counter this, we plan on creating adapters for PC parts that will essentially give you the ability to create modules out of a newer or more favored component that you own. This ensures that ...

3 changed to CGBR Technologies

By
Hello everyone,      Sorry for the lack of posting recently but we have been making some exciting advancements. This post is really to share progress with you all because we know we have had some traction in the community lately. We would just like to thank you because the number of people looking at the blog has been going up a lot lately, meaning we are clearly reaching the right audience. Without further adue here are 3 of the advancements we have made.      #1) Making a website - Currently CGBR Technologies has no website online! We only have this blog and social media accounts. We are currently working on making a website so we can show off some more ideas for example the 'Customise Your PC' section that allows you to see what sort of hardware you would want in the system and how much it would cost you. This website will also have a community driven forum for all to contribute to.      #2) Design of the computer - The design of the...
